Doripesco's fishing complexes have special advantages not only for aquaculture but also for tourism. Doripesco has developed three tourism units and three leisure activities. Based on the success of the Doripesco Tourist Complex in Vadu Roşu (Rotbav) , Doripesco has set up two more tourist destinations: Casa Păstrăvarului Restaurant and Poiana Râşnoavei Pension , both enjoying is a real success among tourists. The competitive advantages of these tourist locations are represented by the following elements: the specific fishing menu with fresh fish from our own ponds, the extraordinary ambiance determined by the natural landscape of our lakes, as well as the leisure activities offered to tourists. Doripesco has introduced three successful leisure activities to the tourist circuit: sport fishing, birdwatching and hunting.
From its inception to the present Doripesco has expanded its activities in areas related to aquaculture. Thus, at the Vadu Roșu fish farming complex, a ballast factory was developed which, over time, has turned into a strong construction division supporting the sector in Brasov county and beyond.

Establishment
Doripesco is a company with fully private capital established in 1995 , the administrative headquarters being in Hălchiu locality, Braşov county. Continuing the activity of the former Brasov Fish Enterprise and based on the experience of over 30 years of its employees, Doripesco has become over time one of the most important producers and processors of fish in the country.

2006
Dumbrăviţa lake complex
Since March 2006 , Doripesco has taken over the Dumbrăviţa lake complex. This lake complex formed on the Hamaradia brook gathers annually over 200 species of birds specific only to this area and the Danube Delta. The avi-faunal and animal diversity has made this area come under European protection by classifying it as a protected natural area (Natura 2000 site and Ramsar site). Nicknamed "Delta from the Carpathians", the area is managed in collaboration with the Romanian Ornithological Society - Brasov Branch.

Present
The Carpathian Delta is the only location where Doripesco supplies fresh fish production. Doripesco products, made according to traditional recipes from Ţara Bârsei, benefit from the raw material of the first freshness coming from the natural environment, due to the fact that the fish caught is transported live in hydrobion, from farms to the processing section, reaching a maximum of 3 hours. In addition, from the reception to the obtaining of the finished product, the aim is not to exceed the time of 72 hours, ensuring the freshness of the product, the continuity and uniformity of the quality, as well as the food safety.
